I was invited to set up my Zemax account by my License Administrator. What do I need to know?

  • You can see your role and permissions at the top of your My Account page.
  • In order to have full access to Zemax's resources, you must be a License Administrator or End User of a supported Zemax license, or otherwise be marked as supported by the Zemax team.
  • You can view your own licenses and those within your company by visiting the Licenses section within your account.
  • If you use a Zemax legacy license (license number starting with L, 2 3 or 4) and need access to support, you can request to be added as an End User by contacting the License Administrator listed next to the license number you are using. 
  • If you use an Ansys license (license numbers starting with 1-) please register for support and Zemax staff wil mark you as supported. You will need the Ansys account number from Help > About when registering.
