If you were already a Zemax customer as of May 1, 2019, your Zemax account doesn't affect how you use your software.
If you purchased a software subscription on or after May 1, 2019, you will need to set up an account on Zemax and ensure your account is associated with the correct software license(s) before you can run the licensed software.
